Simmer Reading

I've always enjoyed a good reading program during the summer, and last year was the launch of the Simmer Reading List here at TS2 List. I've not had time to go through stories this summer, but I would like to still do this as time allows me throughout the year. I pick some of my favorites (and some recommended by you!), by genre, and display them here for you to read. I also will have a section on my forum dedicated to chatting about these stories. If you'd like to leave a comment about the stories (please be nice!), I welcome that. Guests will be welcome to chat about the stories at my forum. :) You'll find the link to TS2 List Forum in the Navigation bar.

Simmer Reading FAQs:

 * How can I get my Story showcased on the Simmer Reading Program?
Simply upload a story.... please do not ask me to showcase your story. Everyone wants to advertise their uploads... If you would like to advertise, you can do that on the Forum. :)

* What are you looking for in a Story to showcase?
I'm looking for a clean story... nothing that has explicit language, inappropriate pictures, or controversial topics. (Basically, if it breaks the Exchange rules, I won't showcase it here.) I'm also looking for creativity and genuine ideas.

* Why didn't you showcase stories from the Exchange that are Featured?
If stories are Featured, then they already get attention, right? I want to give an opportunity for people to read stories done by folks whose stories you might otherwise miss. ;)

* I know of a good story that's really good. Can I recommend it to you?
Absolutely. If you find a great story (one that's not featured and in the top 200 category, because those are read by everyone), sign my guestbook at the Sims 2 site, contact me at the Forum or send me an email (you can find that on my Contact page).
